History is written by the victors. This is a fact. Colonization in Africa not only brought "Religious Mis-education" to the Bantu "Negro" People but it also helped to "erase" the very thing which can connect and unify the African Diaspora to the Bantu people in Sub-Saharan Africa. That thing is our "Biblical Identity" as the Israelites of the Bible. While "Mis-education" and what some may call "Dis-information" was being taught to the so-called Negro in the Americas/Caribbean...the same phenomena was going on in Sub-Saharan Africa thousands of miles away. It is now when many Diasporans are returning to Africa to connect to their roots, that we realize that we have more in common than we think. Colonialism and Slavery did a huge number on Black people in which the effects are seen still to this day. This candid discussion while in Africa proves we have a lot of "re-educating" to do.
